The Pelatron Center for Economic Development (PCED) is a non-profit corporation established within the State of Hawai‘i on August 6th, 2004 to advance and promote economic development within the Native Hawaiian community. PCED is committed to promoting self-determination for Native Hawaiians through economic development which maximizes the benefits available through the SBA, as well as leveraging other established Federal contracting programs. Additionally, we strive to develop community and business partnerships to provide mentoring, training, business incubation and other innovative activities in an effort to attain our organization’s goals.
PCED became an active participant in the SBA 8(a) Business Development program for Native Hawaiian Organizations (NHOs) in 2005, when its flagship company Pelatron, Inc. entered the Native 8(a) program. Pelatron Inc. has since graduated from the business development program.
